Research Group Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing

Peter Krzystek is a professor at the Faculty of Geoinformation in the teaching areas of photogrammetry, remote sensing and image processing. His core competencies are in the areas of computer vision, remote sensing, machine learning, and airborne laser scanning. His research interests focus on forest structure analysis, 3D segmentation techniques, automation of forest inventory using remote sensing data, urban tree biomass and vitality, and UAV-based geospatial data collection.
