IAMLIS bundles machine learning and intelligent systems competencies as part of Munich University of Applied Sciences' digitization strategy, enabling interdisciplinary research on novel applications and methods.
Mission
Our strategic goals include
- The development and establishment of a regional university center for machine learning at Munich University of Applied Sciences,
- the acceleration of application-oriented research in this highly innovative field, and
- the training of AI specialists for the regional job market.
Talent Development in Relation to Teaching
On the basis of our successful research activities
- we sustainably promote our personnel and qualify the next generation of scientists by integrating students from the entire chain of education,
- we transfer the results of our research into teaching and
- develop new interdisciplinary courses in the areas of machine learning and its applications in intelligent systems.
