RESEARCH AND DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM "APPLIED INFORMATICS IN BUSINESS".
Objective
The research and doctoral colloquium serves young scientists of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, but also from other faculties, to discuss their research topics intensively and to improve networking among each other. It provides a discussion and presentation forum for students, but also for industry and research partners of the faculty. The colloquium is also open to students from all degree programs who are interested in research topics in applied computer science. Thus, it also takes an important place in the recruitment strategy for young scientists at the university.
Organization
The Research and Doctoral Colloquium takes place on demand as an open research and discussion forum at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics.
In the form of jointly organized workshops, an exchange takes place on the results of dissertations and theses as well as on methods and practical experiences from the research areas.
Depending on the focus, external experts from science, industry and the public sector are also invited as discussion partners.
The form of the event emphasizes communication among each other, so that contributions from different subject areas can cross-fertilize and input from external practitioners can be adequately considered.
