Sebastian Dersch has successfully defended his doctoral thesis on “Advanced single tree segmentation using high resolution remote sensing data”. He conducted research over three years under Prof. Dr. Peter Krzystek and proved the superiority of AI-based segmentation methods over conventional methods.
