Ready for a space adventure at the ESA Academy?

15. March 2024.

Did you know that the European Space Agency (ESA) has its own Academy as part of the ESA Education Program, which regularly offers courses and summer schools on a variety of satellite and other space topics?

In this context, Lisa Glockner, one of our students from the Master Geomatics program at Munich University of Applied Sciences, was able to take part in the ESA Academy's "Satellite Navigation Training Course" together with 30 other Master and PhD students from 12 different countries. This took place at the ESA Academy in Belgium and offered a week-long program on satellite navigation.

From hands-on projects such as modeling her own constellation design to evaluating real Galileo signals - she experienced it all! Plus, super exclusive insights and visits to ESA facilities, like the Galileo Integrated Logistics Support Center & the legendary ESA ESEC ground station!

The best part? These courses are FREE for participants and there are even travel grants available! Who wouldn't want to be part of this exciting world of space travel?

Check out the open offers and who knows, maybe you'll be the next to take off!
