State of the art, innovation
The delineation to thematically related projects has been expanded to give this project a clear identity and distinctive added value. This expansion allows for targeted work on defined goals and innovative approaches. At the same time, the exploitation of results was revised to ensure that no third-party rights are infringed. This step underlines the ethical claim to act fairly and responsibly. In addition, the research questions were deliberately abstracted from pure basic research in order to open up a broader range of applications and make the findings more versatile. The resulting added value extends across science and society at large.
