Prof. Dr. Lars Wischhof

Research Group Mobile Communication

Lothstraße 64, R1.013
80335 München

Lars Wischhof is Professor of Networks, Protocols and Services. His research interests lie in the application of mobile communication technologies in intelligent mobility systems. In a current project, for example, his research group is investigating the situation-adaptive dissemination of mobility information for urban mobility, with the aim of always providing mobile people - on foot, in public transport or in cars - with up-to-date information as well as any warnings that may be available, and increasing the performance of the traffic infrastructure. The evaluation of the developed methods is carried out via modeling and coupled mobility/mobile radio simulation as well as via experimental measurements in 4G/5G mobile radio networks.
