New Project: RESICOMP
The RESICOMP project is developing an innovative cybersecurity architecture for the electrical energy system that independently detects threats and ensures secure operation even under attack. The aim is to improve the cyber security of OT systems through robust mechanisms and a resilient design.
Instead of shutting down affected areas as before, RESICOMP relies on an adaptive security strategy. Trusted device platforms protect OT systems, while strong authentication procedures ensure secure communication. Monitoring systems continuously analyze the state of the infrastructure so that threats are detected early on. Components can adapt their functionality and limit themselves to essential tasks in order to keep overall operations stable.
Validation in the electricity grid shows that this resilient approach ensures greater security and system stability - a decisive step forward for critical infrastructures.
