The NAOTILUS team consists of Rupert Wieser, Mona Diesmann and Marc Hager. They are currently developing NAOTILUS NAO, which is an innovative modular expandable platform for collaborative technical operation management of district heating systems. They enable engineers and technicians without programming knowledge to expand the platform as needed and to implement complex operational data evaluations for which IT specialists would be required without NAOTILUS NAO.
Users of the platform can use algorithms specially developed for district heating to automatically monitor the performance and condition of their system components in real time and optimise them if necessary. The maintenance and optimisation of district heating systems is a cost-driving business process. With NAOTILUS NAO, district heating utilities increase the performance of their systems, maximise supply security and permanently improve the quality of maintenance.
