Review of the Bavarian Science Delegation for Energy Technology in Québec and Montréal

Invited by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (represented by State Secretary Tobias Gotthardt) and the Bavarian Research Alliance, Professor Christoph Hackl, Deputy Head of our institute, participated in the Bavarian Science Delegation for Energy Technology in Québec and Montréal.

The aim of the trip was to strengthen scientific collaboration between Bavaria and Canada in the field of energy technology. Professor Hackl held discussions with representatives of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – secteur Nature et technologies, the Laboratory of Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics and Industrial Control (LEEPCI) at Université Laval, and the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. These meetings revealed promising opportunities for future joint projects and cooperation.

The exchange provided valuable insights and demonstrated the great potential of international collaboration for a sustainable energy future. We would like to thank all those involved and look forward to further strengthening the ties between Bavaria and Canada.
