New project: SmaFac

Electromobility faces the challenge of reducing CO2 emissions across the entire value chain. The SmaFaC project aims to promote the use of electric bicycles in urban areas through a new type of fast-charging technology designed to reduce charging times to 20 minutes. This development could increase the use of bicycles, reduce CO2 emissions and traffic and relieve the environment. Scientists are working on intelligent and efficient charging technology to shorten charging cycles and ensure grid quality. Innovative battery monitoring and the improvement of the charging strategy contribute to increasing efficiency and reducing costs and promote innovation at the development site. Find out more here!
