Conference "Energy transition - Flexibilities in the Power Grid" Conference on 21 September 2023
You can register now!
The energy transition is in full swing; already almost half of the electrical energy is generated by wind and sun. With an increasing share of non-controllable generation capacity, ensuring a balance between consumption and generation in the power grid will be one of the major challenges of the coming years. Flexibility - in the form of energy storage, load management, sector coupling and intelligent strategies - is seen as a key component for the successful transition to a sustainable energy supply.
In the symposium "Energy transition - Flexibilities in the power grid" we want to discuss possible solution options with experts. With Prof. Dirk Uwe Sauer (RWTH Aachen University) and Lukas Schober (Vorarlberger Energienetze GmbH), we have been able to secure two key note speakers for you, who will address the topic from different perspectives. Learn more about the topics from experts in the following sessions:
- Electrical energy storage in grids and Vehicle-2-Grid
- Controllable loads and grid flexibility
- Digitalisation and data analysis
- Sector coupling and heat management
