Systematically towards more energy savings and efficiency in companies and public buildings
New tools for measuring, analyzing and optimizing consumption are intended to support, simplify and make energy audits and energy management more efficient. Various new methods are increasingly coming into focus.
In the field of research on "Non-intrusive Load Monitoring" (NILM), the aim is to identify the operating mode of loads by non-invasive load monitoring. One innovative method is load identification by distributed power measurement. The operating mode of individual consumers is recorded by a central load measurement. For this purpose, events such as switch-on or switch-off processes are detected with the help of high-resolution data and machine learning algorithms and assigned to the corresponding consumers. For further optimization of consumption, explicit attention is paid to the operating mode of the consumers. By analyzing this data, effective measures for increasing energy efficiency can be identified and evaluated. This enables targeted and optimized energy consulting for buildings and businesses.
Long-term energy concepts and fundamental changes in operational systems and processes systematically lead to greater energy savings and efficiency in companies and public buildings.
