The opEn start-up project was approved
The initiation project for the development of a participatory process and market mechanisms involving a tool chain for the design of energy cells was approved by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
Increasing the acceptance of new digital technologies is of central importance, also in the field of energy transition. To this end, innovative tools, multidisciplinary approaches and the interaction of political decision-makers and citizens at different levels will be combined. The activities in this project focus on the benefits of new digital services to enable citizens to play an active role in the energy transition. The planned networking activity will mainly take place in the area of "Possible implementation of the participatory energy transition". The networking activity will focus on pilot projects as an application of the tool chain, as well as knowledge transfer on other possible market models in the form of interviews and/or conferences.
Networking with practice partners will strengthen the transfer between science and business. In particular, innovative concepts and models are targeted to increase the acceptance and involvement of the population. Ultimately, the aim is to lay the foundation for Europe-wide application in the field in research and practice. You can look forward to the first results of the project.
