Process and tool chain for multi-criteria optimised design of municipal energy systems
Sustainable energy system transformation involves decentralising energy supply systems and thus shifting the responsibility for planning, installing and operating such systems to the municipal level. In order to assume this responsibility, municipal decision-makers need a quantitatively assessed overview of the demand situation, the technologies available for expansion in the municipal environment, their quantitative assessment with regard to locally relevant decision variables, and the selection set of multi-criteria optimal variants.
The enabling process as well as an associated tool chain are presented using the example of a reference municipality.
