App to Address Climate Change

Facing the climate crisis is usually seen as a threatening experience. Moreover, young people in particular don't always know what information about it is reliable. This inspired Karmacom, a communication agency, to launch a DTLab challenge on how to give positive and non-judging impulses to people on what they can personally do against climate change. With support by AWS, IT and business students of HM and TAMK (Tampere) developed a prototype for an app called TipTabToe that is meant to transport such knowledge in a playful way.
